Hello, I’m Claire, and Lovely Dovely Design is where my obsession with crochet comes to life. Like many of you, I’ve struggled to find clothes that truly fit. That frustration is exactly what led me first to becoming an experienced sewist and later, to the exciting world of crochet, where I was instantly hooked!

 I love transforming a simple ball of yarn into a 3D, wearable masterpiece. With my teaching qualification and fashion construction background, my strengths are in guiding and supporting others and breaking down instructions into clear and understandable steps. 

My design goals are focused on creating a lovely fit, translating practical design features into crochet, and ensuring minimal seaming at the end of the project, so you can finish and show off your new handmade garment straight away
